GOBI Roof Racks and accessories are customized based on your selections when you place your order.

Lead times displayed on our website are estimates only.
Production times may vary based on:

  • Order volume
  • Seasonal demand
  • Material availability
  • Freight schedules

Shipping Methods

We ship using:

Standard Parcel Carriers

For small and medium-sized items:

  • UPS
  • FedEx
  • USPS
  • DHL

These orders include standard tracking numbers.

Freight Shipping for Roof Racks

Roof Racks and oversized items ship with professional Freight Carriers.

Because freight shipments require direct coordination:

  • We do not provide a traditional tracking number
  • The freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment
  • An adult must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment

Before signing, you MUST inspect the crate and packaging for visible damage.

Freight Delivery Requirements

To ensure safe and successful delivery:

  • The freight carrier must be able to reach you by phone
  • You must answer or return the carrier’s call
  • Delivery appointments must be confirmed by the customer
  • Deliveries typically occur Monday–Friday

If you miss a delivery window or fail to coordinate:

  • Re-delivery fees may apply
  • Storage fees may apply after 2 weeks
  • After 15 days without customer scheduling, the order is considered abandoned

Abandoned Freight Shipments

Any freight order left unclaimed for 15 days or more is considered abandoned.

By placing an order with GOBI Racks, the customer agrees that abandoned freight shipments:

  • Are not eligible for refunds
  • Are not eligible for replacements
  • Are not eligible for credit card disputes or chargebacks

All storage, re-delivery, or return-to-sender fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Shipping Damage or Incorrect Items

Visible Shipping Damage (At Delivery)

If you see visible damage upon delivery:

  1. Do NOT reject the shipment
  2. Take photos immediately
  3. Note the damage on the delivery form / BOL (Bill of Lading)
  4. Contact us within 24 hours at:

Hidden Damage

If damage is discovered after unpacking:

  • Notify us within 72 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos and documentation

We will work directly with the carrier to resolve the claim.

Incorrect Item(s) Shipped

If GOBI Racks ships the wrong item:

  • We will correct the error at no cost
  • Item must be unused and in original packaging
  • We will arrange the return and replacement

Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

For parcel shipments (UPS/FedEx/USPS/DHL):

  • Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier, it is considered delivered
  • GOBI Racks is not responsible for theft or packages missing after delivery

For freight shipments:

  • The freight carrier is responsible until delivery and signature
  • Missing freight must be investigated with the carrier

We will assist you in starting a claim if required.

Shipping Address Requirements

Customers are responsible for providing:

  • Accurate shipping address
  • Correct contact number
  • Any delivery restrictions or special requirements

GOBI Racks is not liable for:

  • Delays due to incorrect addresses
  • Additional fees from carriers
  • Items returned due to undeliverable addresses

International Shipping

At this time, GOBI Racks only ships within the continental United States unless special arrangements are made.
International freight quotes may be available upon request.

Changes to This Shipping Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy at any time.
The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
